ViewSonic ViewPad 10 is on Sale on Sears
The 10-inch ViewSonic ViewPad Android and Windows (dual-boot) Tablet challenges the iPad.

The Viewsonic ViewPad 10 dual boot Tablet is already on sale on Sears.com. The Viewsonic Viewpad is one of the most advanced Android tablets to be available this fall. There is a 7-inch and a 10-inch ViewPad announced. Sears carries the 10-inch ViewPad 10 and sells it for $399.99. If you wait until Sunday, then you can save $20, as Sears puts the ViewPad on Sale for $379.99 for a two days.

The ViewSonic ViewPad 10 features a 10-inch capacitive multi-touch LED backlit screen with 1024x600px, Intel N455 Atom CPU at 1.66Ghz, 1GB DDR3 RAM, 16GB SSD storage, 802.11n, 1.3MP camera and integrated speakers. The Viewsonic ViewPad comes with Android 1.6 and Windows 7 Home Premium. Android 1.6 is a problem. For some reason ViewSonic only ships the 7-inch ViewPad 7 with Froyo and the ViewPad 10 has to deal with the old Android 1.6. If the ViewPad 10 would come with Android 2.2 it would be really recommendable. If you plan on using it as a Windows 7 tablet than that does not matter to you.
