Howard Stern Is Coming To The App Store - App Advice
What does a new, five year, $400 million contract get you? If you are Howard Stern, a new place for people to listen to your satellite radio show. The Howard Stern Show will soon be available to Sirius/XM subscribers on the company's iOS app.
Prior to Stern's new contract, Sirius subscribers using the free Sirius XM Premium Online app were unable to listen to the company's top show, along with NFL and MLB programming.
While it is not known when Stern's voice will appear on the app, a January 2011 start date seems likely. That is when his new contract kicks in.
Stern arrived on Sirius in 2005 for a price tag of $500 million. I wonder how the guy will manage with $100 million less to play around with this time?
The Sirius XM Premium Online app is available for the iPhone/iPod touch in the App Store.
